XLink Kai: Nintendo DS configured successfully.

3 videos appearing on XLink Kai forums posted by XLink moderator Soul2soul seem to show XLink successfully tunneling the DS via the XLink Kai software.

Although this does not appear to be a release announcement and does not signify additional progress to XLink's previous claims of tunneling Metroid at a ping of 100ms - we do see a Sweex USB WiFi antenna in the frame which may signify a much cheaper WiFi hardware requirement then earlier feared. This stick available in the UK is the only hardware solution currently supported although anything with Sweex's "Zydas" chipset should work.

Although XLink has advised people not to buy this hardware yet, mod god Firefly will export the stick worldwide for ambitious persons. Ordering info here.

Interpretation aside, the videos were posted with gusto: "Here m*therF*ckers:" and experience tells us that when XLink has reason to be happy we have reason to be happy. We'll see.
