In Paris: no online announcement made...

The Parisian announcement of the Europeon Nintendo DS release yesterday came without any mention of a DS online service or support of said service for game developers. I repeat: no Nintendo DS online, yet.

To ease the crushing blow of this news, be sure to come to the DS multiplay tomorrow night.

Of course. Online would be more suited at e3 :)

Yes, but it did yield great Mario Kart footage!

I'm convinced that the online component will be released to support Mario Kart. The IGN article and the CVG report both stated that it would support a game that N-gamers have wanted to play online for a very very long time. At first I thought Animal Crossing, but it has not existed for that long. The 'very very' is by all means a nod to Mario Kart. The wait continues.
