New Demasked hints...

"Demasked is about culture, communication, art, voice, and most importantly, people. As the mask is slowly removed from our project, I would like everyone interested in our project to listen to the artists who have inspired our work over the years. Volume one is comprised of some of the music that inspired me, personally, in the very beginning of the project. Enjoy."

...This today from Chad Paulson of WarpPipe, who will reveal nothing more of project Demasked until this May at E3 - nothing more except an iTunes playlist.

It is not entirely unlikely that this playlist is also the latest in WarpPipe's media teaser campaign of cryptic clues about the mystery product. If so - I invite speculation. What's the clue here?

We also learn that "Demasked is about culture, communication, art, voice, and most importantly, people." Culture? Okay maybe this is the shared culture of friends while they game. Communication and voice could both have to do with VOIP or in-game chatting over the DS microphone so I guess I buy that too. People? Yeah, yeah. The only comment that I can't fathom is "art." How could this product be about art? Even if this thing put pictochat online I'd balk that saying that it was about art. Speculation encouraged on this front, too.

Announcement:I'm taking a weeks vacation - off the grid but I'll be back online on the 23rd with a wrap-up bonanza of the week's back news.

I don't know if there is much of a point speculating about it. We will not know for sure until it is released or Chad tells us. Even if you are curious you still won't be able to use it until it is announced and then released.

Vacation???, I thought thats what you were on
already, get to work. Oh-well, if I have to
wait while you go on VACATION, just make it a
good one. And by the way make sure this is the
last one.

Frankly, I've had enough with news about DemaSked that is not actually news about DemaSked. Not to bash your simply posting information, Bret - but, well you all feel my frustration here. -Silent(K)

^what like you have stock in the company? lol I'm up for whatever they can come up with. The DS really shows a lot of potential for modding. Thanks for the updates and I hope you have a good vacation.

This is so stupid and old...the hype for this thing is so goddamn low now that I dont think anyone cares anymore...Of course, the people who are still hyped about it are probably in for a big letdown when it's revealed to be something stupid like an signal extender, or some other stupid thing.
